Amazon to airlift 10,000 oxygen concentrators and BiPAP machines into India.

Amazon India said it's joined hands with Temasek Foundation, ACT Grants, Pune Platform for Covid-19 Response & other partners to urgently airlift over 8,000 oxygen concentrators & 500 hundred BiPAP machines from Singapore.

Amazon said - All the organisations are working closely with the government to expedite the entry of those BiPAP(Bilevel Positive Airway Pressure) machines & oxygen concentrators in to the country.

This medical equipment are going to be donated to public institutions & hospitals  to reinforce their capacity to assist Covid-19 infected patients across multiple cities, it added.

It said -  The first of those consignments turned into to land in Mumbai on 25 April and the bulk of delivery is anticipated to be finished through 30 April.

A clutch of founders of Gurugram(Haryana) based start-ups have launched  "Mission-Oxygen" to boost crowd funding for importing oxygen concentrators.

The startup founders aim to boost a complete 5 crore to satisfy the demand of 3 000 concentrators.
