Elon Musk, the CEO of Tesla, has shared a Dogecoin video that he claims "explains everything."

On April 1, Tesla CEO Elon Musk published a dogecoin video on Twitter during a discussion on bitcoin mining. "This video explains everything," he says.

Elon Musk, the CEO of Tesla and SpaceX, responded to a tweet on bitcoin by Brett Winton, the director of research at Ark Invest, with a video about the joke cryptocurrency dogecoin (DOGE).

Winton quoted a conversation about bitcoin mining in which he seemed to be having difficulties explaining to his mother that bitcoin miners are computers on April Fools' Day. On the same day, Musk responded with a meme video titled "is for ogecoin," writing, "Just show her this video explains everything."

The DOGE mascot takes a trip to the moon in this short film. As the price of DOGE rose, a shiba inu on a rocket passed bitcoin and other major cryptocurrencies.

"A meme too far for her, I'm afraid," Winton replied to Musk. (However, my 5-year-old is now furiously attempting to open a Coinbase account.)"

Musk's tweet drew a response from Dogecoin co-founder Billy Markus, who called the meme video the "greatest cryptocurrency video in history."

Musk has previously shared this video on Twitter, notably on February 7 of last year when he tweeted: "is for ogecoin! "This is an instructional video."

DOGE supporters are overjoyed that Musk has retweeted about their favourite cryptocurrency. They've dubbed Tesla CEO Elon Musk "the Dogefather" and praised him for driving the price of dogecoin up with his tweets.

Dogecoin, the 12th largest cryptocurrency by market cap, is currently trading at $0.1431 per coin, at the time of writing, based on data from Bitcoin.com Markets.  Musk's newest DOGE tweet, on the other hand, had little impact on the market. When he tweeted, the meme coin was hovering around $0.1420.

Musk declared his ownership of bitcoin, ether, and dogecoin in March, emphasising that he would not sell them. Dogecoin is the people's cryptocurrency, according to Tesla's CEO, and DOGE is the best cryptocurrency for transactions. Bitcoin, on the other hand, he regards as a store of value. His electric car firm takes DOGE as payment for some items.
