Goldman Sachs announces new office in Hyderabad; to hire over 2,000 people by 2023.
Goldman Sachs, a global financial services firm, has announced that its new office in Hyderabad will hire over 2,000 employees by 2023.
The corporation confirmed the news in a press release, according to a report by news agency PTI. According to the company's press release, the new office in Hyderabad is part of the company's commitment to develop its global centre for engineering and business innovation.
"Hyderabad operations began remotely in March 2021, in accordance with local government restrictions, and presently have roughly 250 personnel," Goldman Sachs stated.
By the end of the year, the company plans to hire 800 people for its Hyderabad location, with 70% of them being new hires.

The new facility was inaugurated by KT Rama Rao, Telangana's Minister of Information Technology and Industries.
The new office, according to David M Solomon, chairman and CEO, will serve as a critical innovation hub for a wide spectrum of Goldman Sachs' companies and boost the firm's reputation as a worldwide firm.
